Kerinci
Kerinci
Fortified wine & dried fruits with juicy bubblegum.
A 320 member co-op in Sumatra is adding to the rich traditions of the region with innovative processing. Smallholder growers have long produced distinctive coffees from the rich, volcanic soils of Indonesia's largest island, Sumatra.
The Koerintji Barokah Bersama co-op members live and farm on a plateau that sits at the foot of Mount Kerinci. Founded in only mid-2017, the coop has taken impressive strides to establish a fully outfitted roasting facility, cupping lab and dry mill! Individual farmers have benefited from a guaranteed buyer and profit dividends from the co-op sales while we benefit from this delicious coffee! Ripe cherries are sorted, sealed in airtight bags for seven days and then dried naturally on raised beds. A unique, flavour-packed coffee from our close neighbours - enjoy!
