Boji

Bergamot florals, lemon pie & juicy apricot with increasing complexity on the cool.

25km southwest of Yirgacheffe Town in Ethiopia the smallholders of Kore Village are farming the red-brown clay soils to produce this delicious coffee. Making the most of the beneficial high altitude and medley of heirloom Typica varietals populating the birthplace of Arabica coffee, these farmers deliver their cherries to the nearby Boji washing station. At this well run operation, this lot undergoes the washed process; depulped and washed with spring water before being placed on raised beds, allowing for the even drying that ensures the quality we're after. In the cup you'll find beautiful bergamot florals, lemon pie & juicy apricot with increasing complexity as it cools.
