Café BÜ in Melbourne’s Carlton North has over the last few years become a fixture of the inner suburb specialty coffee scene and a daily regular for many in this busy neighbourhood. There has until recently been one thing missing….space.

Café BÜ has bred a sibling space taking advantage of the key corner site on the building they own and occupy. Now affectionately titled BÜ Brew and BÜ Chew the two spaces are physically divided yet combine as one café business only bigger and better than ever.

As the new moniker would suggest the additional Chew space has allowed an expanded food offering. No longer confined by sharing prep and display space with the coffee counter next door this light filled, timber, tile and greenery bedecked locale has added that crucial ingredient of any Melbourne café, eggs. In this case, just set bright orange 63 degree free range eggs! These beauties partner with the breads of Cobb Lane, bagels of 5 & Dime, and crazy good Dr Marty’s crumpets. Added toppings such as smoked salmon, pecorino, truffle spiked mushrooms and of course avocado help round out a small yet perfectly formed menu.
