For our August Curated Cupping, we’re excited to showcase a diverse range of small lot coffees freshly arrived from Kenya.

With deep roots in history, film and literature such as “Out of Africa” by Karen Blixen, Kenya has long sat atop the leader-board of extraordinary coffee. This month we get a chance to dive further into such a prestigious and historical origin. When did coffee first make its way to Kenya? What varieties do we often see planted? What challenges does the Kenyan coffee industry face? Why does Kenyan coffee taste so darn good?! Join us as we investigate these questions and answers, plus cup some incredible coffees from small holders with amazing backgrounds themselves.
