Five Senses Coffee is looking for a skilled Barista Trainer to join our team in Perth. The role is about working in collaboration to educate people in the whys and wherefores of specialty coffee. This is a casual position offering 1 to 2 days a week. The work hours can be negotiated to suit most situations. Located in our fully equipped barista academy in Lake Street, Northbridge. Your role will be to provide café owners, their baristas and the general public with expert training, knowledge and skills so they can make exceptional coffee and all their customers can enjoy delicious coffee every time.

We need a barista trainer who is knowledgeable in all aspects of espresso preparation, milk steaming, and the beverage building processes and someone who is eager to share their knowledge and experience. The ideal candidate will have worked as a barista in a variety of venues for at least 4 years and be comfortable smashing out hearts, rosettas and swans and happy to share them on social media.
In your role, you will focus on training the staff of our clients so their customers have an excellent coffee experience every time they drink a Five Senses coffee. You will also be training the home enthusiast and interested members of the public. You will have access to the latest coffee equipment and expert knowledge so you can offer world class, best practice training. Using your creativity and natural talents, along with the help and support of the team, you will enjoy working with baristas from novice to expert level. Your skills as a teacher will allow you to deliver course content that suits your audience and helps them get great results.
